About TREKS, Naturecorp
Treks,
A Jim Brett Naturecorp was founded in 1982 when it was devoted
exclusively to East Africa and Israel. In the past 20 years
our company has grown to include Central and South America,
Mexico and Southern Africa. In the developmental stages
are Alaska and New Zealand.
Naturecorps highly trained and respected naturalists
and tour guides have become the hallmarks of the company
and are well known throughout the global nature-based tourism
market.
Each of the Treks excursions are designed by the
same staff who conduct the trips. Our adventures are based
upon small group participation and there are never more
than 10 individuals in any group. Many times participants
are repeat travelers with Treks which speaks for the quality
our excursions around the world. We strive to become familiar
with all new participants so as to insure a close-knit traveling
body.
One very important component of the Naturecorp enterprise
is the Jim Brett Global Conservation Education Fund which
provides training for young conservation workers through
Africa and the Middle and South America. The Fund is supported,
in part, by those individuals who have traveled with Treks
over the years as well as those who are familiar with Jim
Bretts conservation work throughout the world.
